So who are we?

Hello my freaky darlings,

I thought this week that I would take some time to introduce you to our core team.

We are insanely lucky to have the experience of an award winning director helping us every step of the way in the very talented and dedicated Chris Hawley of BlackBox Theatre Company. He has mentored us in every way imaginable from arts council funding applications, to script editing and audition running. Chris is directing our debut production of ‘Ay Up, Hitler!” and we are very excited to have him on board.

Our Co-founders are the crazy duo of David McCulloch and Hannah Harrison. Hannah (that’s me!) is a graduate from The Academy of Live and Recorded Arts. She spent six years in London (sometimes touring as a Maths pirate) and spent two years as an Agent. She is the first port of call for our actors, and absolutely loves everything to do with casting and the casting process.

David is our marketing guru. It has been said that David McCulloch will plug a show to anyone, and he could convince an Eskimo to see a show about Igloo building. He knows how to pack a theatre and writes a darn good script. David has written our debut production, and as well as assisting Hannah with producing, he has created our Twitter, Facebook and Instagram sites.

Hannah brings her previous casting knowledge, writing experience and acting know how and combines it with David’s marketing and media knowledge as well as his writing and acting skills to create a pretty wide stretching knowledge base.

So that’s it. That is our core team. Our director Chris, writer David and producer Hannah are the team bringing you Gamma-Ray Theatre’s debut production.

Over the next few months we will introduce you to our amazing cast and crew, who we are very lucky to have poached for our upcoming production of ‘Ay Up, Hitler’, which has been described as “The most offence play you’ll see at the Fringe”.

We hope you'll read our blogs, hear the name of the play and simply have to see the show. David will be enlightening you as to where the idea for the show came from, as well as telling you a tale or two about the writing process. We'll be bringing you photos and stories from the rehearsal room as well as having our cast and crew write up their experiences as well as sharing any interesting Hitler based facts we may find (and believe me, some of the things we've learned our crazy!!)

Stay tuned my freaky darlings,

Hannah
